The Insert or Connect Disk prompt (WinCatalog displays it when you perform a file operation involving a drive that is not connected to the computer) now displays the Volume Label property in addition to other fields. The new addition takes effect for newly scanned drives only, for drives already added by never updated, WinCatalog will continue to display “Never” for Date Updated. Now when adding a disk for the first time, the Date Updated field is set equal to the Date Added field, so now sorting by Date Updated works well now. In the example above, WinCatalog will update “Drive 2” located in the “Photos” folder in the Catalog, then the “Current” drive located in the “Backups”, and then exit (because the /ExitWhenDone parameter was passed). WinCatalog.exe /Update /CatalogPath "Catalog\Photos\Drive 2 Catalog\Backups\Current" /ExitWhenDone The example of passing two paths when updating drives via command line: The new version fixes some issues with the command-line interface (CLI), it now correctly handles multiple paths passed via the catalog path (/CatalogPath or /cp) parameter, paths should be separated by semicolons, and the /ShowInCatalog behavior. Hello, we’re glad to announce that the new version of WinCatalog was just released.
